Welcome to my Mini Gallery
Here's some of my art!
This page is meant to be a continuously growing portfolio of my various digital illustrations starting in 2014.
Most of these were drawn on a Wacom Cintiq 24HD, using the illustration programs Clip Studio Paint and/or Paint Tool SAI.

A drawing of an original character of mine done on a live stream. Another experimentation in shading, this time using a more painterly style on top of more sketchy line art.
2021
A drawing of an original character of mine named Clef. This was my first time putting down her colors and was an experimentation with the shading blending into the line art.
2020
A drawing for my First Year Seminar class at PNCA. This piece was printed and meant to be displayed at a small gallery for the class, but due to various issues plans for this fell through.
2020
Digital drawing of a character of mine. After being without my tablet for several months I whipped this up in CSP, felt very proud of myself. I used the opportunity to test out a few things as well.
2019
Two characters of mine. As usual with my larger pieces I experimented with the shading here. Drawn in a tumultuous time in my life when a lot of big changes were happening, including moving out of my childhood home and starting college.
2019
Humanization of the Pokemon Skitty; I tried out a different way of shading here
2019
My character Ann, some practice in simple shape backgrounds
2019
An original character of mine. I decided to complete one of a couple thumbnail sketches I did to practice posing characters in a way that reflects their personality. At the time I was less experienced in drawing a character facing the proverbial camera, so this served as practice for that.
2019
An original character of mine, this piece reflects a state of panic.
2019
An original character of mine that I created in high school, this was an attempt to redesign her and add in some fun background elements.
2019
An original character of mine, at the time of drawing this I was trying to draw more ambitious things despite feeling they were outside of my skill level.
2018
Pills
A personal piece made to process the feelings I had around trying out ADHD medications at the time. This was drawn at a point in my life where I was dealing with a lot of difficult changes.
2018
A gift drawing for a friend depicting her original characters.
A link to his Instagram is here.

A digital painting of one of my original Dungeons and Dragons characters.
2018
Drawing of a zombie girl for a friend's contest. His Instagram can be found here.

Comfort
A short comic depicting some of my original characters. It was created for my Digital Media class in my senior year of high school.

Gender Representation 2018
A set of illustrations created for my Digital Media class in my senior year of high school. At the time a lot of people I knew would assume these characters were girls, which frustrated me quite a bit. My idea was to allow people to make their own assumptions about the characters before "revealing" that they were men. I don't personally think I did this very well, and the final project feels a bit judgmental and a little silly.
2018
This started as just a small sketch, but I decided to expand on it in an attempt to widen my skill window. It's another of a wide range of drawings where I tried to experiment with the shading, though that may not be obvious in the finished piece.
2017
Drawn directly after the image shown below. Shading practice and a general attempt to finish something.
2017
I tried working with colored line art and my shading skills with this drawing, at the time I was very unsatisfied with the result.
2017
An original character of mine, this drawing wound up being a favorite of mine and proof to myself that I was, in fact, improving in my art.
2017
A drawing that was meant to be part of a bigger image that I collaborated on with a friend. The collaboration was never complete, but I was quite proud of the result nonetheless. The character's design is based on a white spotted bamboo shark.
2017
A drawing done for fun, it was a rather self indulgent play with a type of typical "anime" style of character design.
2017
An original character of mine based off the show Steven Universe. It was my first time drawing in Paint Tool SAI after a long stint in Clip Studio Paint.
2016
I used the two toned shading from mentioned in the below work here but with fewer different colors. I also made and uploaded a speed paint of it right here.
2016
This was a bit of a test in shading with multiple shadow tones.
2016
Drawn with a Cintiq, I was incredibly proud of this drawing at the time. It used heavy shading, something I had tended to shy away from, but it lent itself well here.
2016
This drawing marked a transition into a new era for me. I drew this with my (at the time) new 24-inch screen Cintiq tablet, which allowed me to have cursor input directly from the pen to the screen. Drawing this was very fun for me.
2016
An original character of mine. I used colored line art here, which at the time was rather difficult for me in the more gore-y areas.
2015
A character from the story-based JRPG Mogeko Castle. The creator was a big inspiration for me in my early teens, their website is here.
2015
A bust shot of an original character. Her design is meant to be evocative of the sun.
2015
A personal project to test out some new equipment (i.e. a new computer)
I played around with perspective a lot more than I had in the past, and brought out an image I'd mulled over in my head a lot.

Gender Studies Project
A project made for a media literacy class I took in high school about contrasting/displaying the gender stereotypes in media, specifically commercialism.
Here I identified two different face washes, one marketed towards girls, the other towards boys, they're displayed on the right.
In the picture on the left, I put a male into one of the ads I imagined you might see for the "girl" face wash as a contrast.
